WJ-50-1CR(W) is a transparent, fumed-silica reinforced HTV solid silicone rubber at 50 Shore A. It is supplied as uncured compound for extrusion and compression moulding, and it is built for one job: holding the same physical properties and shrinkage across long production runs.The same compound cures either way, so a processor with a peroxide line and one with a platinum line can both run it without requalifying a second stock.

The fumed silica does two things at once: it builds a three-dimensional network with the polymer, which raises tensile and tear strength, and it keeps that network stable from batch to batch, so extrusion behaviour and shrinkage stay predictable.

It is used for outdoor and under-bonnet parts where ozone, UV and heat cycling would degrade organic rubber. Typical sectors are automotive sealing, electronics grommets and general industrial machinery.
