6250-43MJ is a two-part platinum-cured silicone for mold making. It vulcanises at room temperature, so no oven or heated press is needed, and the addition-cure system gives low shrinkage and reproducible detail from the first pull to the hundredth.
At 25,000 mPa·s mixed viscosity it flows into fine undercuts and surface texture without trapping air, which is what decides whether a mold reproduces the original or loses the detail. Typical uses are prototypes, decorative castings and industrial parts.
Tensile strength is 8 MPa and tear strength 20 kN/m. The tear figure is the one that matters for mold life: it decides how many demoulding cycles a thin undercut survives before it starts to nick and tear.
The hardness of this silicone mold making rubber is rated at Shore A 35, striking an excellent balance between flexibility and firmness. This moderate hardness level allows the mold to be flexible enough for easy demolding of complex shapes, while still maintaining sufficient rigidity to support detailed features and structural integrity. This versatility makes it suitable for a wide range of mold making tasks, from delicate artware to robust industrial components.
Platinum cure keeps shrinkage low and dimensions stable, which is what a multi-part mold needs: the two halves have to line up after every cycle. It suits prototypes, artware, decorative concrete and industrial castings.
Furthermore, the room temperature vulcanizing capability of this silicone mold making rubber simplifies the mold production process. Users can cure the material at ambient conditions without the need for additional heating equipment, reducing both time and energy costs. This feature also expands the range of environments in which the material can be used, making it highly adaptable for different workshop settings and production scales.
In summary, 6250-43MJ combines a 35 Shore A hardness, 8 MPa tensile, 400% elongation and 20 kN/m tear with a 25,000 mPa·s mixed viscosity and a 30-minute pot life at 25 °C. It is built for repeated demoulding, not for one-off castings.
The grade is supplied as two components at 1:1 by weight, so mixing is a scale job rather than a formulation job, and the 30-minute pot life leaves enough working time for large molds without dragging the demould time out.

6250-43MJ is a mold making silicone made in Guangzhou, Guangdong, China. It is supplied as two components packed separately, and it is intended for industrial, art, craft and jewellery mold making only.
At Shore A 35 it is soft enough to strip a deep undercut by hand and firm enough to hold a straight wall. The transparent appearance lets you see air bubbles and stone alignment while the mold is still open, and the 1:1 by weight ratio keeps mixing simple.
This grade is not intended for food-contact use. It is a mold making material for plaster, concrete, resin and wax casting, and for candle and soap molds that are not used with food. If you need a food-contact mold silicone, tell us at enquiry stage and we will quote the food-grade series instead.
20 kN/m tear strength is what carries thin undercuts and sharp internal corners through repeated demoulding. It is the reason this grade holds up in jewellery casting, art casting and prototype work, where the mold has to survive dozens of pulls without losing detail.
In summary, 6250-43MJ is a 35 Shore A platinum-cure mold silicone for concrete, resin, wax and plaster work. It is not for food contact; choose it for detail reproduction and mold life, not for culinary use.
The material is supplied as two components. Part A and Part B are packed separately in 20 kg pails or 200 kg drums, each sealed and labelled with the batch number and production date. Store at room temperature in a dry, ventilated area away from direct sunlight; shelf life is 12 months. Keep the components away from compounds containing N, P, S, Sn or Pb, which deactivate the platinum catalyst.
